SOCCER
SLAA coordinates an annual tour of Greece for boys and girls ages 13-17. Our tour includes visits to the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, and other cultural landmarks. We organize the Hellenic American Basketball Tournament in conjunction with PAO BC Academy, where we compete against the premier clubs in Greece. Our players have the opportunity to play against the club team of NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo on the Antetokounbros court.
Our tour began in 2017 in Athens with one team of 11 players. In only two years, our group has grown to 30 players and includes two boys and two girls teams. Our most recent trip included a tour of the historic city of Sparta. The culture, traditions, and cuisines that our athletes are exposed to is what makes this trip an unforgettable experience.
